Stress, Telomeres, and Taking Back Your Health

We wear our busyness like a badge of honor.
But in medicine, that badge has a cost — and it’s steeper than we think.
Chronic stress doesn’t just make us tired. It’s biologically aging us.
Our telomeres — those tiny protective caps at the ends of our DNA — shorten faster under stress, leading to inflammation, disease, and burnout.
We didn’t create this cortisol swamp, but we’re living in it.
Medicine has become a game of metrics and widgets, where our responsibility is high and our control is low. No wonder we feel constantly overdrawn — emotionally, mentally, and physically.
